Companion Visits (LaVisTe)

Do you or someone you know need companionship? We have a team of volunteers who provide caring companionship for those who are homebound, in senior living or other care centers, or are isolated and lonely. We refer to this team as LaVisTe (Lay Visitation Team). We are pleased to match a LaVisTe volunteer with you or your loved one to make regular calls and/or visits once or twice a month.

For more information or to request a visitor, please email Doug Mauss at dmauss@pathfinderstl.org.

Cancer Companions

Cancer treatment often leaves patients physically depleted, making the burden of fear and despair overwhelming. Christian cancer tools and connections offer a lifeline, significantly reducing anxiety. Cancer Companions are trained volunteers who support cancer patients, post-treatment individuals, and their families or caregivers through one-on-one or group sessions.
