A few of us from the Cards and Cafe Action Team were discussing ways we could complete an act of service to help reach the 175 goal, and Joette mentioned that she had a table and chairs that she was willing to donate to someone in need. I shared on Facebook about the Serve175 initiative and if anyone was in need of the furniture. The group of us selected a woman named Abby who has four children and no table for her and her kids to eat meals together. Abby and her son came to pick up the table and chairs and were grateful to receive them.
