Summer Blast Serve Opportunities at Pathfinder Church

STUDENTS: ALL volunteer positions for students 6th - 12th grade are FULL. We are accepting only adult volunteers (current 12th graders through adult) at this time. - Please note: Students can still register for After Party even if they are not volunteering for Summer Blast.
After-Party Chaperone for 6th- 12th grade students: Chaperone students both on and off-campus venues Monday through Thursday afternoons, noon to 4:30 pm. Days are flexible. Help out 1 to 4 days. (requirement: 21+ years old)
Pre-Summer Blast Tasks: Assist pre-Summer Blast week in assembling, cutting, copying, sorting, or organizing as needed on your schedule.
Special Needs Care Team: Do you have a heart for kids with special needs? Be a buddy to one of our special kids for the week of Summer Blast to provide them with the one-on-one support they need throughout the morning. (requirement: 8th grade - adult)
Construction Team: Seeking adult volunteers who are good with their hands, are visually oriented, and like to build and create. Help us make the Summer Blast stage set come-to-life with this year's theme. Construction takes place evenings and weekends prior to Summer Blast. Bring your tools and help us create a backdrop for all of the fun! (requirement: 18+ years old)
Decorations Team: Help out pre-Summer Blast with creating, tracing, painting, cutting, or hanging decorations. Younger kids can serve with their parents. Great area for families of older kids to serve together. (requirement: 8th grade - adult; younger kids can serve here if accompanied by a parent)
Elementary Bible Story: Guide elementary-age kids in experiencing the Bible story by telling the story in a dramatic and engaging way and guiding kids through activities to reinforce the lesson. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Elementary STEAM/Crafts: Demonstrate the day's sciencey/crafty fun activity to elementary-age kids and discuss how it relates to the point of the day. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Elementary Games: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Lead fun-filled games outside with elementary-age students. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Elementary S3 (Serve | Snack | Sightings): Show the daily mission video while kids eat a yummy snack. Lead discussion and activities with the kids following the video to help them see God working in their lives and help them learn how to live a generous life. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Hall Patrol: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Welcome participants, help them find their way, and maintain hallway safety. (requirement: 10 grade - adult)
Childcare: Assist in caring for children (infant through 3 years old) of Summer Blast Volunteers. (requirement: 8th grade - adult)
Traffic Team: Be the smiling face to welcome the community on the parking lot the week of Summer Blast. (requirement: 18+ years old)
Snacks: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Help distribute the snack of the day to classrooms. (requirement: 7th grade – adult)
Pre-K/K Bible Story: Guide Pre-K/Kindergarten kids in experiencing the Bible story by telling it in a dramatic and engaging way and leading them in activities to relate it to their lives. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Pre-K/K Classroom Facilitator: Oversee a room with pre-k or kindergarten participants. Encourage and assist teenage Crew Leaders (up to 6 per room) as they help our pre-k/kindergartners through the week. (requirement: 18+ years old)
Pre-K/K Crafts: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Demonstrate the craft of the day to pre-k or kindergarteners and help them create their masterpieces. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Pre-K/K Games: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Lead fun-filled games outside with pre-k or kindergarteners. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Stage Production Actor - This position is full for 2024. If you are interested in this role in 2025, email Tiffany Sloane tsloane@pathfinderstl.org: Seeking enthusiastic and talented character actors to perform as part of the cast in the daily Stage Production. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Ensemble - This position is full for 2024. If you are interested in this role in 2025, email Tiffany Sloane tsloane@pathfinderstl.org: Seeking enthusiastic and talented dancers and performers as part of the cast in the daily Stage Production. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Tech Crew: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Seeking theatrical stage technicians to operate the daily Stage Production's lighting, sound, and audio/visual aspects. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Costumes: (FULL- cannot accept any more volunteers) Create costumes for the Stage Production. (requirement: 10th grade - adult)
