Administrative Support: Assist pre-Summer Blast week with data entry, organizing name tags and crews and/or registering kids on Summer Blast mornings. (requirement: 10th grade - adult)
Area Director: Be a part of the leadership team as a coordinator, team lead or project manager. Planning starts in February. If you have the gift of leadership, this position is for you! Hesitant to jump in? Let's talk about co-directing an area. Lisa Schmidt will contact you if you are interested to help you find just the right spot! (requirement: 21+ years old)
Care Team: Do you have a heart for kids with special needs? Be a buddy to one of our special kids for the week of Summer Blast. (requirement: 8th grade - adult)
Construction Team: Seeking adult volunteers who are good with their hands, visually oriented and like to build and create. Help us make the Summer Blast stage set come-to-life with this year's theme. Construction takes place evenings & weekends prior to Summer Blast. Bring your tools and help us create a backdrop for all of the fun! (requirement: 18+ years old)
Decorations Team: Help out pre-Summer Blast with tracing, painting, cutting or hanging decorations. Younger kids can serve with parents. Great area for families of older kids to serve together. (requirement: 8th grade - adult; younger kids can serve here if accompanied by a parent)
Elementary Bible Story: Guide kids in experiencing the Bible story through the use of drama and activities. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Elementary STEAM/Crafts: Demonstrate the sciency fun activity of the day and discuss how it relates to the point of the day. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Elementary Games: Lead fun-filled games outside with Elementary age students. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Elementary S4 (Serve | Snack | Sightings | Songs): Show the daily mission's video while kids eat a yummy snack. Lead discussion with the kids following the video and end your time by rockin' out to cool songs the kids love. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Hall Patrol: Welcome participants, help them find their way and maintain hallway safety. (requirement: 10 grade - adult)
Childcare: Assist watching children (infant through 3 years old) of Summer Blast Volunteers. (requirement: 8th grade - adult)
Traffic Team: Be the smiling face to welcome the community on the parking lot the week of Summer Blast. (requirement: 18+ years old)
Preschool Bible Story: Guide preschoolers in experiencing the Bible story through the use of dramatic props and activities. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Preschool Classroom Facilitator: Oversee a room with preschool or kindergarten participants. Encourage and assist Crew Leaders (up to 6 per room) as they help our preschoolers/kindergartners through the week. (requirement: 18+ years old)
Preschool Crafts: Demonstrate the craft of the day to preschoolers and help them create their own. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Preschool Games: Lead fun-filled games outside with preschoolers. (requirement: 6th grade - adult)
Stage Production Actor: Seeking enthusiastic and talented character actors to perform as part of the cast in the daily Stage Production. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Ensemble: Seeking enthusiastic and talented dancers and performers as part of the cast in the daily Stage Production. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Tech Crew: Seeking theatrical stage technicians for operating the lighting, sound and audio/visual aspects of the daily Stage Production. Prior experience is helpful but not required. (requirement: 7th grade - adult)
Stage Production Costumes: Create costumes for the Stage Production. (requirement: 10th grade - adult)
After Party Chaperone for 6th-12th grade students: Chaperone students both on campus and at off campus venues Monday through Thursday afternoons, noon to 4:30pm. Days are flexible. Help out 1 to 4 days. (requirement: 21+ years old)
