Parents of Addicted Loved‐ones (PAL) is a support group of parents helping parents. Meeting every week to offer education and support for parents who are dealing with a child battling addiction. PAL's evidence-based practices have been proven in studies to help parents' wellbeing to improve and decrease enabling behavior. The practices include curriculum topics such as delayed emotional growth, the role of the family in adiction, setting realistic boundaries, and healthy helping vs. enabling. PAL can also be beneficial for spouses who have a partner with addiction issues. However, all other sober family members & friends 18 & older are welcome at PAL meetings. First meeting 2/7/23.
